Kanban Systems Improvement (KSI)

This course is suited for those currently using a Kanban system, have prior experience with Kanban, or are currently in the Kanban Management Professional training series (attended Kanban System Design course). This includes, but is not limited to:

• Managers, e.g. delivery leads, project or program managers 
• Agile practitioners e.g. Agile Coaches, Service Delivery Managers or Scrum Masters
• Roles dedicated to maximising the value delivered, e.g. portfolio managers, Product Owners, product managers, or business analysts

• Gaining knowledge on how to manage evolutionary change
• Learning ways to deal with resistance to change
• Understanding how to use Kanban feedback loops to develop and improve the Kanban system and its network of related services
• Becoming familiar with different approaches to scaling Kanban within an organization
• Discovering techniques for optimizing value flow in the organization and improving delivery predictability
• Learning flow metrics and how to analyze them
• Understanding tools for balancing demand and capacity, including managing variability, improving flow, and shaping demand
• Acquiring knowledge on how to use Upstream Kanban to maximize the value of work
• Learning how to manage dependencies across multiple Kanban systems

After completing the Kanban System Design and Kanban Systems Improvement training courses, you will earn the title of Kanban Management Professional (KMP).
