Claude Code: Your Intelligent Programming Assistant – Introduction for Non-Technical Users

This course is designed for people who have no IT background or programming experience, but want to leverage the power of AI to create simple applications, automate their work, or simply understand the world of code. Perfect for managers, analysts, marketers, and technology enthusiasts.

1. Claude Code – what exactly is it?

6. What's new in Claude Code – March 2026 updates (NEW)

Due to the rapid pace of Claude Code's development, this section covers the most important updates introduced up to two weeks before the training date. This ensures participants always leave with knowledge that reflects the current state of the tool.

Key features introduced in March 2026:

/loop Scheduled Tasks – Cron-style recurring task execution (e.g.

automatic PR review checks, deployment monitoring, security audits).

Claude Code transforms from a one-off assistant into a continuously running background worker.

Computer Use (Research Preview) – Claude Code can now directly control a Mac desktop: clicking, browsing, and performing file operations when it lacks other tools to complete a task.

Voice Mode – activated via the /voice command with a Push-to-Talk mechanism (hold spacebar to speak). Supports 20 languages; 10 new languages were added in March 2026.

Remote Control (expanded) – control your local Claude Code session from a mobile phone or browser. Code and files never leave your computer; only chat messages are transmitted through an encrypted channel.

Underlying upgrades: Opus 4.6 as the default model, 1M-token context window (Max/Team/Enterprise plans), and automatic Context Compaction for ultra-long sessions.

The aim of the course is to familiarise participants with the Claude Code tool and to demonstrate that, thanks to artificial intelligence, the barrier to entering the world of software development has almost disappeared. Participants will learn how to "talk" to a terminal, how to install the necessary tools, and how to build their first working application from scratch – together with AI.

An Anthropic account (or willingness to create one) + an active Pro subscription.

Openness to learning new, groundbreaking tools.
