AI-Empowered SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager

The training builds the competencies of Product Owners and Product Managers within the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) environment, enhanced with artificial intelligence.

Participants go through the entire product delivery lifecycle, from defining a product vision, roadmaps, and customer-centric features, through preparing and facilitating PI Planning, to executing iterations and the entire Program Increment (PI). Along the way, they learn how to create effective prompts, work with AI tools and agents, and apply AI responsibly in product decision-making.

The course is designed for Product Owners, Product Managers, and Business Analysts who want to maximize the value delivered by an Agile Release Train (ART).

After completing the training, you will be able to manage both the ART and team backlogs, successfully facilitate PI Planning, and take the SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification exam, with the first exam attempt included in the course fee.

This training course is aimed at anyone interested in product roles within the SAFe framework – there are no formal prerequisites. Before attending the course, it is recommended that you:

  • Are familiar with the basic concepts and principles of Agile
  • Have experience working with requirements, a backlog or a product
  • Are familiar with the principles of Scrum or Kanban
  • Authorized Scaled Agile materials: a digital workbook and access to the SAFe® Studio platform
  • SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification exam – first exam attempt included in the price
  • SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager certificate and a digital badge upon passing the exam

The AI-Empowered SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) exam is taken online via the SAFe Studio platform, as part of an individual Learning Plan activated upon completion of the training course.

The first attempt at the exam is included in the course fee, provided it takes place within 30 days of the course ending.

To be eligible to sit the exam, participants must attend both days of the training course. Before the exam, participants have access to preparatory materials and a mock exam (with an unlimited number of attempts).

  • Test comprising 45 questions (single-choice and multiple-choice)
  • Minimum pass mark: 82%
  • Format: online, on the SAFe Studio platform, without the use of reference materials
