Information Clause
- The controller of your personal data is Altkom Akademia S.A., ul. Chłodna 51,00-867 Warsaw, Tax ID (NIP): 527-267-43-24, REGON: 527-267-43-24.
- The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer, Mr. Mariusz Zajkiewicz, who can be contacted via email: iodo@altkom.pl or by sending a traditional letter to the company’s address provided above.
- Purposes of processing:
- a. Your personal data is processed based on your consent as specified in Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR to contact you, including for permissible marketing activities via available communication channels, particularly email and phone, sending targeted marketing information about potential training opportunities to enhance your knowledge, informing you about upcoming training dates and subsidized training, sending newsletters and information related to the training in which you have participated or expressed interest, organizing contests and promotional events in which you may participate, storing data in cookies, collecting data from websites and mobile applications (if you have provided additional consent as required by electronic communication regulations). Your data will be processed until you withdraw your consent.
- b. The conclusion of a contract and the realization of the training, reserving your spot in the training, providing you with necessary materials, inviting you to the training, and creating a profile in Altkom Akademia’s Virtual Class service, which is an integral part of the training, issuing certificates, diplomas, or attestations of training completion based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Your data will be processed for 5 years from the end of the fiscal year in which the training took place.
- c. Fulfilling our legal obligation as the controller under Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, such as issuing invoices for training services, verifying training completion, and conducting audits if you have participated in training subsidized by Employment Offices or Business Development Operators. Your data will be processed for 5 years from the end of the fiscal year in which the training took place.
- d. Legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, including handling your requests, particularly by the Training Service Department and through the contact form, if they are not directly related to the contract’s execution, enabling you to contact other training participants after its completion, evaluating the training quality through a survey at the end of the training and 2 months after its completion, allowing the execution of exams in our exam center, debt collection, conducting legal proceedings, arbitration, and mediation, as well as for analytical and statistical purposes.
- e. Legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, meaning the execution of a contract with the client who commissions Altkom Akademia to conduct the training.
- The categories of personal data being processed are those provided directly by you or on your behalf.
- The recipients of your personal data are the employees and associates, as well as entities supporting the Controller in business activities.
- Right to withdraw consent. Personal data stored for the purpose of sending commercial information and direct marketing will be stored and processed until you withdraw your consent to their processing or request rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, or object to processing, as well as request their transfer by sending an email or letter to the addresses provided above. We will promptly stop processing them to that extent upon such objection.
- Right to object to the processing of your data based on the legitimate interest described above. In this case, we will cease processing your data for these purposes unless we demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the data is necessary for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
- The right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data by us violates GDPR provisions.
