In particular, the course is intended for:

  • IT professionals who have basic experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and are looking for a single course that will further develop their knowledge and skills using access and information protection technologies in Windows Server.
  • AD DS administrators who want to further develop their skills in the latest access and information protection technologies in Windows Server; system or infrastructure administrators with general experience and knowledge of AD DS who want to build on this foundation and transition to advanced Active Directory technologies in Windows Server.

The course is an equivalent of the retired MS 10969 – Active Directory Services with Windows Server training.

This training is aimed at IT professionals and identity administrators who want to acquire the skills needed to better manage and protect access to data and information, simplify the deployment and management of identity infrastructure, and ensure more secure data access, including configuration of key Active Directory features such as:

  • Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)

Participants should have at least two years of experience or more in the IT field.
It is recommended to have attended courses on Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025, or possess equivalent knowledge.
A solid, practical understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP.
A solid, practical understanding of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization fundamentals and knowledge of Windows Server security principles.
Ability to use PowerShell commands (prior participation in a PowerShell Fundamentals course is recommended).

To improve comfort and training effectiveness, it is recommended to use an additional monitor. Lack of an additional monitor is not a contraindication for participation, but it can significantly affect comfort during the sessions.
