Information about Pearson VUE Authorized Centers (PVTC) exams is provided by Exam Administrators at the centers. To register for the exam, please send a clearly completed Application Card form by fax or scanned by e-mail to the address of the chosen center.

Pearson VUE exams take the form of computerized knowledge tests. The duration depends on the type of exam.

Firewall Do not take the exam using a corporate firewall (also VPN). We recommend the use of private equipment, as company computers may have security in place to prevent the exam.

Monitor Minimum resolution: 1024 x 768 and 16-bit color

Additional monitors are prohibited.

ATTENTION!

Before registering for the online exam:

  • Perform the required system test on the same computer and in the same location from which you will test.
  • Confirm that your ID matches (read requirements) and that the name in your profile matches your ID exactly.

From April 15, 2020, it is possible to take exams delivered through Pearson VUE.

The exam is conducted using remote supervision of the exam by Pearson VUE. This supervision gives you the ability to take new Cisco certification exams, including the new DevNet path, in real time, without having to travel to an exam center.

To take the exam, you must meet specific environmental and system conditions and agree to abide by the admission rules and security policy. How does online testing work?

Apart from taking the test at home or in the office, the online registration process remains unchanged.

The following payment methods are accepted: valid exam vouchers, current promotional codes and credit cards.

To help examiners carry out their duties, the online testing software has been enhanced with artificial intelligence using techniques such as facial recognition and eye tracking, allowing for immediate reporting of potential security breaches.
