"After a vigorous investigation, we currently understand the Pearson's systems accidentally triggered a stored procedure that incorrectly granted a SUSE CLP to those candidates who (only) have the prerequisite SUSE CLA.  This procedure affected a large number of candidates, however the fulfilment emails were stopped after only a few thousand had gone out.  This erroneous granting is incorrect and will be removed shortly.
 
We at SUSE apologize for the inconvenience and confusion caused by this situation.  We are working hard with our Pearson representatives to discover exactly what happened and to ensure that this will not happen again, and we want to assure all involved that the necessary clean-up and restoration of everyone’s certification records is being accomplished with all possible speed.

We will communicate with the certification holders when a resolution is at hand, all inquiries should be sent to suse-training@suse.com.”
