  • Variable Pay Academy guides learners through the concepts and skills required to perform Variable Pay module configuration on a client site. During the course, learners will configure their own instance to a fictional customer’s specifications.
  • Use variable pay terminology to configure and communicate course requirements
  • Use various questions to identify key components of a customer’s bonus program needs
  • Configure variable pay programs
  • Describe, import, and update the five data import files used in variable pay
  • Explain how the five import files relate to one another
  • Update variable pay templates and the employee data model
  • Access variable module resources through SF Cloud Partner Services or Partner Portal
  • Build a variable pay solution based on specific customer requirements
  • Present a variable pay solution based on customer requirements
  • This course has three graded assignments: 1. The first graded assignment is submission of required coursework configuration 2. Second graded assignment is submission of a variable pay solution based on fictional customer requirement 3. The Final Activity (10-15 hours) is completed when the learner conducts a live presentation showing mastery of design, configuration, and presentation of a fictional customer’s variable pay solution, which includes:
    • Creation of the variable pay program, including background elements, form templates, and data files
    • Configuration of module to customer’s region, currency, and variable pay plan policies
    • Demonstration of requested reports and system maintenance items
