PeopleCert Scrum Master I qualification is aimed towards any professional who wishes to become an efficient member of a Scrum environment. It requires candidates to develop and demonstrate a solid knowledge and understanding of Scrum terms, principles, tools and practices, as well as demonstrate their ability to use tools efficiently and effectively. A more advanced level of skills and knowledge is covered in the next 2 levels of the PeopleCert Scrum qualification scheme (PeopleCert Scrum Master II and PeopleCert Scrum Product Owner). 

After passing an exam participant receives international People Cert certificate in an electronic form. PSM I certificate does not expire. Additionally the participant will learn:

  • Benefits of agile project management
  • Understanding of key concepts of agile work environment
  • Gather foundation of Scrum framework
  • Preparation to PeopleCert PSM I certification.

The participants receive vouchers, which are valid for 6 months, for online exam.

Having completed the training, the participant receives an e-mail with guidelines how to register on the exam. The date is determined directly with PeopleCert, with the use of participant’s account.

Online exam is conducted in the presence of proctor – a person from PeopleCert, who connects remotely with training participant’s desktop and observes the course of exam via Internet camera.

The person who takes the exam is obliged to show the place where he is going to write the exam to proctor via Internet camera. Proctor checks if there are not any other persons and study aids in the room.

After passing the exam, the participant will receive an international certificate in electronic form.

  • Exam duration: 60 min
  • Single selection test
  • Required 70%, 28 out of 40 correct answers
  • No additional materials allowed.
