As an Accredited Training and Examination Organization (ATO and AEO) for PRINCE2®, Altkom Academia conducts certification exams at Foundation and Practitioner level.
The exams are held online by purchasing a voucher. The online exam is carried out directly by the Accreditor – PeopleCert.
Online exam
The purchased voucher is valid for 6 months. After placing an order, the candidate will receive a voucher by e-mail with instructions on how to create an account and register for the exam. The candidate chooses an examination date that is convenient for him or her from among those provided by PeopleCert.
The online exam is conducted in the presence of a proctor – a person from PeopleCert, who remotely supervises the course of the exam. Passers are required to show their ID card and the environment in which they will take the exam.
The exam takes the form of a test, contains 60 questions and lasts 60 minutes (candidates whose language is not their mother tongue have an additional 15 minutes). To pass the exam, you must obtain 33 points. Polish and English versions of the exam are available, the client chooses the language during registration for the exam.
The official certificate confirming the degree is sent electronically to the participant’s previously created account by the accreditation organization PeopleCert between 2 days and 8 weeks from the date of the exam.
The certificate confirming obtaining the title is awarded for 3 years.
The certificate may be renewed by:
- Recertifications – re-taking the exam before the expiry date of the certificate.
- Achieve higher levels of certification before the expiration date of the certificate.
- Collecting and recording career development points through the MyAxelos platform.
We recommend that a person wishing to take the Foundation level exam has previously taken an accredited training course: Prince2® 6th edition Foundation – Accredited Exam Training.
The exam consists of a scenario-based test, contains 68 questions and lasts 150 minutes (candidates whose language is not their mother tongue have an additional 15 minutes). To pass the exam, you must obtain 38 points. Polish and English versions of the exam are available, the client chooses the language during registration for the exam. During the exam, the candidate can use the accredited “PRINCE2 Effective Project Management” handbook. The official certificate confirming the degree is sent electronically to the participant’s previously created account by the accreditation organization PeopleCert within 2 days to 8 weeks from the date of the exam.
The certificate confirming obtaining the title is awarded for 3 years. After three years, you have to take the Practitioner exam again.
The Prince2® Practitioner exam is available to all holders of a valid PRINCE2® Foundation certificate. Due to the specifics of the exam, we recommend taking part in the training to prepare for the exam: Prince2® 6th edition Practitioner – accredited training with exam.
